Larry King and his brother Al were like the sons my father never had. He spoke well of them often. I only met Larry on a few occassions and he was always so warm and genuinely friendly. He never forgot my father and visited him in the assisted living facility. I was impressed with his caring. He had a beautiful soul to touch people like he did. He was 'special'. My sympathies to his family.

First of all, let me state that Larry King was one of a kind and I fully expect to never meet anyone like him anywhere beneath Heaven. Growing up on the Circle in Wichita Falls, I believe he jockeyed a Red Ford that could squeal tires enough to wake a person out of a deep sleep. Later in life we learned great slogans together that made life better....East Does It, First Things First, Keep it Simple and Let Go and Let God.These ideas made us good friends. My sympathy to ALL of his family and friends of which he had Many! In fact he never knew a stranger. Happy Home Going Larry. We miss you.

Larry and his mother were so very kind to me during and after my high school years in Wichita Falls. (Old High 67) Over the years I have remarked to people the kindness of the whole King family. To think that they are now all gone is truly a sad day for us all. Thank you for sharing with us in writing how great his life has been and will now continue to be.
