May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Those who die God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15) My sincerest sympathy. JW.ORG

My sincerest condolences to those who knew and loved Mr. Moore. It is never easy to find the right words at times like this, and so I'd like to direct your attention to the words of our creator. Isaiah 26:19 reads: "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." It was never God's intention for us to die, and so he has provided a way to escape the bonds of death through the shed blood of his own son, Christ Jesus. His sacrifice guarantees the fulfillment of the quoted prophecy from the book of Isaiah. Mr. Moore is sure to be among those who will 'rise' when the Lord Jesus Christ calls out to those in the grave. Please go to JW.org to learn what the Bible says about the condition of the dead.

I was glad to have known Doug and to call him my friend. He was always friendly and fun to be around. He was full of knowledge and gave great advice about how to live life. The one thing I really admired is how he was respected among his circle of friends. I will miss him, and will value the friendship we had.
