I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Jerry for a short period but during that time I got to know his kind soul and infectious laugh. I hope during this difficult time, the stories and memories you share will allow you to laugh like Jerry; a good laugh heals a lot of hurts. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:35, 37- 39

Jerry Don was one of my best friends and we spent many hours talking about absolutely everything. We would talk on the phone, sometimes until the batteries were all but dead. All that knew him, knew he was opinionated, but that was really a facade and he was one of the kindest and most generous people I know. He will be missed by many and remembered lovingly by all who knew him.

With heartfelt sympathy the Atchavit Family (Robert, Lou, Carrie, Lisa & Allison) are sending our love and healing prayers to your family while facing this unexpected loss. It wasn't very long ago when Jerry & I were visiting and reminiscing about our youth days at Faith Baptist Church. I'll forever cherish that visit. May peace, comfort and wonderful memories be with all the Morgan family in the days ahead.
