Roger & Nancy Harrod

Konawa, OK

We are so sad to lose such a dear and very special friend. I will really miss those calls and texts. We have got a lot of good memories over the years, some funny and others that will live in my heart forever. Roger and i have been following western swing music over 53 years when Elm and Bobby were starting out in KC. Without a doubt he had one of our favorite bands. We will cherish the fond memories until we meet again. Love and hugs.

Hope Reed-Main

Mena, AR

Eddie was such a dear friend to my late husband Bill Reed and myself. He performed for our Rich Mountain Country and Western Swing Festivals in May and October in Mena, AR for many years, until we had to retire our festival due to Bill’s declining health. Eddie called every day to over a month when Bill was in the hospital with Spinal Menengitis. What true friend he was!’

Eddie and I kept in touch over the years. I often talked to him about how much God loves him and about salvation. I was overjoyed when he told me he invited Jesus into his heart and knew he would be going to heaven when he passed. PTL!!!

He will be dearly missed by many.

My sincere condolences to his family and all who loved Eddie.

RIP in the arms of Jesus, Eddie... until we meet again.
