Alice Marie Morgan of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on June 28, 2024. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 6-7 pm at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, 2812 Midwestern Pkwy, Wichita Falls, Texas.

In her 101 years, Marie saw many changes in her world. During this time she touched many lives and inspired those around her with her charm, her grace and her generosity.

Marie was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 13, 1923, to Carl Hahn and Myrtle Fay Johnson. She married C. O. Morgan on March 8, 1947. They were married for 34 years before he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister Margaret Gladys Davis of Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her son John Morgan. Marie moved to Wichita Falls in March, 1966, with her husband  C.O. Morgan and her son John; joining the community after her husband founded C. O. Morgan Lincoln-Mercury of Wichita Falls.

Throughout her life, Marie was involved in volunteering at both Bethania and General Hospitals, as well as many years with Hospice of Wichita Falls and the Wichita Falls Humane Society. Marie was also an ardent supporter of Midwestern State University and Midwestern Athletics. One of her passions was both the Midwestern Men's and Women's Basketball teams. Her greatest passion was horse racing and her favorite horse 5Maries. Through the years her hard work brought her many honors from the organizations she strived to help.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be happy that memorials be made in  honor of Marie to Healing Hands Hospice of Wichita Falls, Midwestern Athletics, or the Humane Society of Wichita Falls.
