Aloma Ann (Andrews) McConnell peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on October, 30, 2024 at the age of 82 after a long journey with Parkinson's. She was surrounded by her loved ones.

Aloma was born on May 13, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Roy and Opal Andrews. The family eventually made their home in Wichita Falls, TX. She married William Doyle (Sonny) McConnell on October 25, 1958 in Grandfield, OK before settling in Wichita Falls. Aloma had a beautiful soprano voice and loved to sing music of any kind but Country and Gospel were her favorites. She learned to play the piano by ear and could pretty much play anything she heard.

She was a wonderful cook and loved to bake. Her kitchen was off limits to all until she announced "let's eat". She loved her family unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William "Sonny" McConnell, a brother Eldon Eugene Andrews, half brother Truman Rice and her precious grandson Dylan Blake Rippy.

She is survived by her brother, Roy Leon Andrews (Nancy) of Wichita Falls, daughter Lori McConnell Elmore (Bob) of Iowa Park, son Eddie McConnell (Christie) of Corpus Christi and daughter Stephanie McConnell Hambright (A.D.) of Iowa Park. She was blessed with grandchildren Amanda Hambright Sallee (Dustin) of Archer City, Tyler Rippy of The Colony, TX.and Jessica Hambright Weaver (Jarrid) of Wichita Falls. She was fortunate to become a great-grandmother to Emmah, Ryan and Christian Weaver, Sawyer and Sadie Sallee, Charles Blake Rippy (beloved Chiweenie), and numerous nieces and  nephews.
