Amanda May Gholson, 40, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on March 16, 2021 in her home.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on March 31, 2021 in the sanctuary of First Christian Church in Wichita Falls, Texas with Dr. David Hartman and Dr. Mark Bender officiating. The church requires masks to be worn to enter.

Amanda was born in Paris, Texas on November 3, 1980. She was a 1999 graduate of Wichita Falls High School.

Amanda was married to Thomas Gholson on September 16, 2012 at the Wichita Theatre in Wichita Falls, Texas. They were married for over 8 and a half years.

Amanda was employed for 19 years at AT&T where she met her husband, Thomas. She had the kindest soul, putting everyone above herself. She adored her family, loved traveling, and making each holiday special. She was the proudest of being a mother to both of her daughters, Alyssa Wood and Berkeley Gholson. She was also a proud Ama to Kesley and Princeton Rivas.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Thomas; her daughters, Alyssa and Berkeley; her mother, Carol Grooms; her father, Bob Crawford; her sisters, Monica Davis, Amy Jo Martin, and Starlin Finley; and brothers, Bobby Dennies Crawford and Jason Finley. She also had many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls and The American Cancer Society.
