Anthony "AJ" Junior Ortiz, 23, of Wichita Falls, Texas, soared to the heavens on July 27, 2024.

A Memorial Service celebrating his extraordinary life will be held at 5 pm on August 9th at City Hope Church.

Anthony served our nation with pride as a Security Forces Officer in the United States Air Force. His talents were as vast as his spirit: excelling in football, wrestling, jujutsu, cooking, music, poetry, dancing, and weightlifting. There seemed to be no limit to what Anthony could achieve. His love for the Lord shone brightly through his selfless service to the community and his unwavering readiness to help anyone in need. A natural leader and encourager, Anthony's infectious smile and boundless energy left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Tata Pete Rocha and Uncle Louie Rocha, who welcomed him with open arms in heaven.

Lovingly remembered, he leaves behind his devoted wife Vianca, their cherished fur babies Zara, Wesley, and Loki, and a large, loving family, including his great grandmother Carmen, mother Maria Ortiz, stepfather David Ortiz, siblings Valerie, Dj, and Mariano Ortiz, father Martin Gutierrez, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss him.

In honor of Anthony's memory, let's all spread a little kindness and remind one another that Jesus loves us.
