Audrey Wellborn Ashley, 89, of Wichita Falls, Texas went to be with her Lord, March 10, 2021. She was born March 18, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Frances L. (Dillard) Wellborn and William T. Wellborn Sr.

Her parents, sister Col. Ella Wellborn Herold, brother William T. Wellborn Jr. and husband Louis Ashley all preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be, 3:00 pm March 12, 2021 at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, with Rev. John Dillard officiating.

Audrey attended school in Louisville, Kentucky. She Married Louis Ashley on July 15, 1950. They had one son, Louis (Sonny) Ashley. She moved from Louisville to Wichita Falls in 1967.

Audrey was a longtime member of 1 ^st United Methodist Church, since 1978. She worked at the Wichita National Bank-Big Blue" from 1969, until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed crafting, bridge, oil painting, and loved dancing.

Survivng relatives include her son, Sonny Ashley and wife Shelia, beloved sister Wanda James, granddaughter Summer Varcardipone and husband Steve, nephews Donald James, Billy Wellborn and wife Debbie, and great-grandson Paxton Varcardipone.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Parkey, the staff of the Presbyterian Manor Healthcare, and Hospice for the excellent care and compassion given to Mom and requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Presbyterian Good Samaritan Fund.
