Barbara Dodge Glover, 87, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

The family will receive friends at visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 ^th at Lunn's. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14 ^th with Deacon David Bindel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Helen and Robert Charles Dodge, Barbara was born on July 29, 1934, in Texarkana, Texas. She graduated from Memphis State and worked several years as an airline stewardess for TWA. Barbara and John Glover were married on October 31, 1959, moving to Lubbock.. During the early '60's they moved to Wichita Falls where John worked as an architectural engineer, with Barbara helping later in life with office work.

Barbara and John loved to travel and visited everywhere in the world except Antarctica. They enjoyed cruises and shared those trips with their grandson, Kevin. Barbara was a golfer and excellent storyteller. Her grandchildren said they loved her more than anything in the world.

Along with her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband, John Glover; her sister, Marilynn Perkins; and her daughter, Karen McClosky.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Megan McClosky Lueck and husband, Ronnie; and grandson, Kevin McClosky; great-grandchildren, Audrianna Jordan and Sarah McClosky, all of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Lisa Blakely and husband, Robbie of Hereford, TX; and brothers-in-law, Mack Glover of Tyler, TX; and Tim Glover and friend Debbie Sagebiel of Lubbock, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
