Barbara Fay Pinson, 62, of Wichita Falls, died on October 3, 2021, surrounded by her family. A Graveside service will be held at 2;00 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Rosemont Cemetery with Tex Cox officiating. Visitation will be at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 6-7 PM.

Barbara was born March 20, 1959 in Georgia to Carleen Metzger. She grew up in Graham and moved to Wichita Falls as a young teen. She married the love of her life, Mark Edwin Pinson on August 23, 1974 and together they had two sons, Mark Anthony and Brandon Michael. Barbara's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and being involved in all their many activities, and helping friends and family in any way she could. She will be remembered for her caring and loving nature.

Barbara worked most recently at Midwestern State University, as Assistant to the CIO in the Information Technology Department. She became a surrogate parent to many international students who filtered through her department over the years. She also volunteered for several organizations around the community of WF.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Carleen Metzger, her brother Rex Metzger, and her husband of 42 years, Mark Edwin Pinson.

She is survived by her two sons Mark Anthony Pinson, wife Valerie, and children Madilynn, Hunter and Henry, and Brandon Michael Pinson, wife Gail, and children Emily and Morgan; sister Anita Farmer, husband Butch and nephew Doug Farmer, wife Lisa, and children Kaitlyn and Koty; brother James Metzger; beloved niece Rexann Anderson, husband Tony, and children Regan and Reece; beloved nephew Alex Metzger and her best friends Shauna Kennedy and April Henninger; as well as her pups.
