Betty Grace Jenne Freeman, 94, died peacefully on May 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on May 17 at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Pearce officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of Theodore Roosevelt Jenne and Helen Elizabeth (Wallace) Jenne, Betty was born on February 4, 1929, in Wichita County. She grew up in Wilmore, Kentucky, Cache, Oklahoma, and Wichita Falls, Texas, before marrying and living in Oklahoma and Arizona and then moving back to Texas to be with family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James M. Freeman and James' daughter. Kathy Overturf.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Frances R. Jenne and C. Virginia Jenne Turner of Wichita Falls; children, Gary M. Norris and wife Jill of Montgomery, TX; Gail A. Cotts, of Norman, OK; Jim's daughter Karol Guerrero and husband Joe of Cedar Park, Texas; and Kevin Freeman of Richland Hills, Texas.

Her grandchildren include Christy Carroll, Caren Bearden (Gabriel), Courtney Evans (Paul), Jenne Stoner (Gregory), Ryan Cotts, Micah Hill (Kelli), Jonah Hill, Shanna Hill, Chip Overturf (Emily); 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews will also miss her.
