Betty L. Henry, 93, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on July, 14, 2025.

The family welcomes friends to a visitation on Wednesday July 16th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17th, at Byers Cemetery in Byers, Texas, with Minister Caleb Sowell officiating.

Betty was born in Atwood, Oklahoma, on September 1st 1931, to Irma (Houston) and Vernon Whitten.

Betty loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren endlessly. When it came to her family, she was selfless and loving at all times. She was the glue to our family from the beginning to the end. Betty also loved her dogs and loved to bird watch any chance she got.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Irma Whitten; father, Vernon Whitten; brothers, Bill and Butch Whitten; sister, Gerry Fredrick; beloved first husband, Delbert McDonald; and beloved second husband, Clint Henry; sons, James McDonald and Delbert Ray McDonald.

She is survived by her sisters, Vernalene Olberg and Sharon Alexander; children, Mary Ann Bagwill; Carolyn Morgan and husband James Morgan; Jimmy McDonald and wife Melba McDonald; grandchildren, Dawn Thompson; Jacob Morgan and wife Kimbra Morgan; Brandon McDonald; Dustin McDonald and wife Ashley McDonald; and great-grandchildren, Kyler Wiechman, Abigail Wiechman, Rya Reaves, and Harlen McDonald; and daughter-in-law, Barbara McDonald.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours in the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
