Billye Frances Ellis, 93, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27th at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Reverend Rod Payne officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Bernice (Potts) and Elmer Huffstutler, Billye was born on January 26, 1931, in Albany, Oklahoma. She and Ralph Ellis were married on December 9, 1949, in Durant. Billye worked as a secretary for the United States Air Force for fifteen years. She was a long time member of Lamar Baptist Church and later on at First Baptist Church. She was a member of Faith Chapter Eastern Star #713.  Following Ralph's passing, Billye moved to Richland Hills to be closer to her family.

Along with her parents, Billye was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
