Bobby R. Cash, 86, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4 ^th at Heritage Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Tim Puckett and Ron Barnard  officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the end of the service. Private family interment will be at Holliday Cemetery, Holliday, Texas, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Noreen Marshall and Johnny Cash, Bobby was born on August 12, 1935, in Newark, Arkansas. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1958.Bobby traveled to many countries playing basketball for the USAF, and after this he attended Midwestern State University and played for the Indians for five years, where he's still in the top 15 of all time defensive rebounds there. Bobby and Helen Vessel were married in Crowell, Texas, on December 18, 1964. They were members of Heritage Church.

Bobby worked for American Peitra Fina for 25 years prior to his retirement. He and and his wife then bought University Academy Day Care and owned and operated it for 16 years.

Along with his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Cash; and a sister, Mary Jo Guffey.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Helen Cash; his daughter, Tammey Haynes and husband, Jeff Haynes; grandsons, Gavin Haynes and wife, Stephanie; and Garret Haynes; son, Bryan Cash and wife, Heather Cash; grandsons, Tanner Cash, Morgan Cash, Owen Brown and Coy Brown; sister-in-law, Betty Cash; and several nieces.
