Carl Ray Hudson, age 91, passed away on August 14, 2025 at Texhoma Christian Care Center in Wichita Falls, Texas. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 18, 2025 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Texas with Rev. Claude Hendricks officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Carl was born on February 27, 1934 to Alfred Joy and Mary Ida (Rector) Hudson in Jacksboro, Texas. He grew up near Jacksboro and Bowie, Texas. Carl proudly served his country for several years in the US Army.  Carl worked for Wilson Manufacturing for 28 years before his retirement and enjoyed hunting, fishing and buying old pickups and restoring them.

Carl married Beatrice Lyons in 1955 and she preceded him in death on December 14, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers.

Carl is survived by his sister, Wanda McCalip of Wichita Falls.
