Carolyn Ann Franks Hrncirik, 82, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Isaac Butterworth officiating and Chaplain Tim Holley of Beyond Faith Hospice, assisting.  Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Carolyn was born in Vernon, Texas on July 27, 1940, to the late Lummie Dee and John Franks. She graduated from Vernon High School. On September 19, 1959, she married the love of her life, Lawrence Victor Hrncirik. They lived in the Elliott community and raised their three daughters. She loved spending her days gardening and helping on the farm.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

When Lawrence retired from farming in 1998, they moved to Wichita Falls to be near their children and grandchildren. "Mamaw/Mimi" attended many school and sporting events and was always their biggest cheerleader. Cooking for her family and neighbors was one of her favorite past times.  She wouldn't let anyone leave without trying every single dessert she had prepared. From her grandchildren to her dogs, she loved her family fiercely.  Her house was a home full of love and laughter.

Although the last 8 years of her life were taken by dementia, her sense of humor and love for life were with her until the end.  Her family was especially thankful for Beyond Faith Hospice and the many nurses and aides who would visit during their off hours.  Shelbie Williams, Angie Stout and Tim Holley became part of her family.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lori Goldstein and husband Kevin and Angela Stahler and husband Brian; and son-in-law Craig French. Seven grandchildren, Brady French and wife Jana; Kati Lutz and husband David; Andrew Goldstein and Lyndi Walters, Bradley Goldstein and Payton James, and Henry Goldstein; Addison and Jack Stahler; and two great grandchildren Brantley French and Olivia Goldstein.  Her sister Dolores Caldwell and sisters-in-law, Mildred Koenig, Gladys Martini and Sheryl Hrncirik and numerous nieces and nephews who will also miss her.

Along with her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; brother, Carl Franks; and daughters Amy Lynn Hrncirik and Kimberley Ann French.

A family visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00pm at the home of Angela and Brian Stahler.
