Charles Monroe Brewer, 82, went home to be with our Lord on June 2, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1;00 PM, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Pastor Doug Burton of Angels Care Hospice officiating.  Interment with Full Military Honors will follow the service in Crestview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, June 6, 2022 form 6-7 PM.

Charles was born July 28, 1939 in Minden, Louisiana to Laura and Joseph Brewer, who preceded him in death. He married Karon Fouts in 1956 and joined the U.S. Navy the same year. He served for 21 years, retired in 1977 and returned home to Wichita Falls. He also was an active member of BPOE Elks 1105 where he served as exalted ruler for 2 years.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Charles "Scuby" Brewer in 2018.

He is is survived by his wife Karon of 66 years; their two  daughters,  Mitzi Veitenheimer and husband Charles of Windthorst and Monteil Sample and husband David of Wichita Falls. He also has 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Charles also leaves behind a brother Mike Brewer of Iowa Park, Texas.
