Charles Kirk Brown passed from his earthly home to Heaven November 25, 2024 in Wichita Falls, Texas at  90 years of age. Services will be held graveside in Sherman, TX at Cedarlawn Memorial Park on December 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Tim Franklin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Charles Kirk Brown was born in Denison, TX on April 3, 1934 to Jeff Kirk and Edith Miller Brown.

He went to school in Denison and graduated in 1951.  He was already in the plumbing business alongside his dad.

He married Sherry Kay Melton in 1952.   They had a daughter, Deborah Jo.  The family moved to Wichita Falls and he continued his work there in the plumbing business until retirement.

His wife Sherry died in 1968.

In 1990 he married Barbara Roberson and she died in 2003.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Brinkley; and a daughter Debbie Kokurek in 2023.

Charles is survived by his granddaughter Alesha Allen; grandsons: Brian Allen and Bradley Kokurek; his great grandsons: Kyle, Alex, Jordyn and Sam; and son-in-law Jeff Kokurek.  He is also survived by his sisters Dorothy Franklin and Darlene Shepherd; and brother- in- law John Melton and wife Barbara; stepdaughter, Kim Pendley and husband Jackie; and stepson Darren Roberson.  He is also survived by neighbor and best friend Paulette Benson and neighbor Arlene Eaton; and many, many nieces, nephews and friends.
