Charlotte Mendenhall passed away peacefully on, August 20, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was born in Wichita Falls on February 10, 1942, to Charles and Rubye Adams. Charlotte graduated from Wichita Falls High school in 1960. She married Tommy Mendenhall in November 1961, and during their 50 years together they raised 3 boys and many dogs.

While married to her husband Tommy they traveled the world living in Singapore, Saudi Arabia and many other locations following Tommy’s oil career.

After she lost her husband Tommy in 2012; she found love again with Barnett McNeely. They married in 2014, and enjoyed every moment of their “second chance,” traveling, dancing hanging with their very dear “Old High” friends and raising their dachshund Riddick together. They had 10 amazing years together until Barnett passed in 2024.

Charlotte was very social, she loved going to lunches with her close friends, playing Bunko, cards, and her favorite game was Wahoo. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping and most of all she loved her boys.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tommy; her brother Charlie Adams; and her son Harley Mendenhall. Charlotte is survived by her sister, Bette Lowry; her sons, Darin and Zac Mendenhall; stepdaughter, Diane Davis and husband Paul Mowery; as well as her grandchildren Dylan, Morgan, Tate, Michelle, Trent and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Private family services for Charlotte will be held at a later time.
