Charlotte Ann Slayton, 65, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1202 36th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.

A daughter of late Lynna (Lewis) and Tom Sales, Charlotte was born on January 12, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Charlotte worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) at the James V. Allred Unit as a Food Service Manager for twenty-four years. She had lots of love for Christ and her dogs.

My mother was the strongest woman I know and I am beyond privileged to be her daughter. For 46 years I've been blessed to call her momma. I know in my heart that I was her first love. She has always given me strength to survive and the courage to push forward and to better myself in life. She will forever be cherished and adored by many of her friends as well as family and coworkers. To know her was to love her. But now she'll reside in Heaven with our Heavenly Father and her babies, my brothers, Christopher Scott and Brandon Michael.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Christopher Scott and Brandon Michael; a brother Dan Paul Sales; and sister, Julia Cole.

She is survived by her husband Barry; and daughter, Amanda White.
