Darren Dale Huff, 57, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2022.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Tuesday July 5, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Darren was born on March 9, 1965, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended S.H. Rider High School and graduated in 1984. As a welder he worked for Washex, Pratt & Whitney, and most recently, M1 Support Services. Darren attended Floral Heights Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, Texas and Douglas Avenue United Methodist Church of Springfield, Illinois. He loved spending time with his family, volunteering in his community, and fishing.

Darren is preceded in death by his nephew, Matthew Doyle.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Glynn Dale and Wanda Huff; his mother and step-father, Deanna Ann and Charles Dean; along with his parents, Darren is survived by two brothers, Chuck (Phyllis) Huff, Jeff (Stacie) Huff; one sister, Leesa Moran. He is further survived by four nephews, Dusty (Sherry) Huff, Cody (Samantha) Huff,
Aaron (Jennifer) Huff, Todd (Jennifer) Huff; one niece, Maggie Moran; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
