Debbie Kay Scott, 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on March 31, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1952, in La Marque, Texas.

Debbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Carl Edward Scott, as well as her parents, Dorothy Fielis and Lamont Rivers.

Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Debbie enjoyed sewing and crocheting. In her younger years, she worked as a school bus driver.

She is survived by her son, Jamie Scott and Cindy Scott, of Wichita Falls, Texas; and her daughter, Stacy Scott Melendez and Johnny Melendez, of Wichita Falls, Texas. Debbie and Carl also helped raise their two grandsons, Shawn Scott of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Cody Scott and his fiancée, Meckenzee Holt, of Houston, Texas, along with their two children.

She is also survived by her sisters, Sherry Watson of Baytown, Texas, and Lynn Pugliese of Southington, Connecticut; her brothers, Bruce Rivers and his wife Lisa of Baytown, Texas, and Paul Rivers of Pasadena, Texas; and her sisters- and brothers-in-law, Nancy Webb and Audrey Silcox, both of Highlands, Texas; Karen and Byron Ernst of Baytown, Texas; and Raymond and Rebeckah Scott of Crosby, Texas. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
