Dennis Barnett Wadsworth, 72, died on March 11, 2021. He was born on October 7, 1948 and was a life-long resident of Wichita Falls. He is survived by his wife, Debby; his son, Dr. Troy Wadsworth and his wife, Heidi; his daughter, Deana Albert and her husband, Michael; his grandchildren, Stevie and Troy Markham, Ariel Wadsworth, and PFC Cody Albert, USMC; his sister, Dana Wadsworth; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lea Ann and Larry Bernethy; and nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, Woody and Evelyn Wadsworth, and his in-law's, Troy and Patsy Stewart.

Dennis graduated in 1966 from Wichita Falls High School where he played on the Coyote Basketball team and also played the trumpet in the Coyote Band, where he met his life long sweetheart. In 1973, he graduated University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in mechanical engineering. His first job was as an engineer at Tranter until 1979. From that day on he was self-employed. He founded Wadsworth Industries, a pressure vessel fabricating company, in 1999 until his death.

Dennis had many varied interests in his life. In his younger years, horses were his passion, and he owned and raised paint horses at one time in his life. He also loved to ride in rodeo parades and Grand Entries until health reasons prevented further involvement in horses. In later years, he became interested in collecting classic cars, his favorites being 1960's Chevys. Another hobby was driving his motor home all over the country with his wife of 51 years, Debby. He also loved going to Nascar races, and cooking for his family.

Dennis was affectionately called "Bear" by his grandchildren who adored him.  His greatest love in life was his family and enjoyed every moment he could with them.  Bear had the kindest heart around.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wichita Falls Faith Mission.
