Don Ray Massie, 88, of Wichita Falls, passed away on February 19, 2022.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 26 ^th , at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Reverend Paul Goodrich officiating. A visitation is to follow the service.

Don Ray Massie was born on July 31 ^st , 1933, in Clay County, Tx. to Darrell and Eugenia Massie. He graduated from Petrolia High School in 1950 and attended Midwestern State University. Don married the love of his life Norma Jean Taylor on April 10 ^th , 1953, in the chapel at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. He served in the U.S Navy from 1955-1957.

Don was the President of Union Square Federal Credit Union for 45 years. He was the director of the Texas Federal Credit Union League and President of the Southwest Lions Club.

Don enjoyed playing golf, traveling the world with his wife and family, gardening, and was an avid fan of the UT Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife and family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Darrell Jr. and Richard Massie and his son Michael Ray Massie.

Don is survived by his wife Jean, son Mark Massie and wife Carol, daughter Donna Eaton and husband Skyler, six grandchildren: Lindsay Davis and husband Paul, Jennifer Hofer and husband Josh, Megan Massie, Sarah Massie, Alex Eaton and wife Alaina, Samantha Cox and husband Neil and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
