Donald G. Williams, 94, of Wichita Falls, TX, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7 ^th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8 ^th at Faith Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, officiated by Pastor Craig Lile and Rev. Larry Shields. Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Matthew Yell, Justin Vann, Kirk Williams, Jared Vann, Matt Montgomery, Casey Lewis and Bobby Caivano. Interment with full military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Son of the late Faye and Arthur Williams, Donald was born on October 25, 1927 in Syracuse, MO. He married his sweetheart, Bonnie on April, 6, 1952. Donald served in the US Air Force for 26 years across the world in Illinois, Kansas, Germany, Texas, Philippines, Florida, and England.  He retired in 1977 as MSgt at Sheppard AFB. Donald had a passion for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and faithfully served as a deacon for over 50 years. As a member of Faith Baptist Church he served as an usher, deacon, VBS worker, and sang with Faith Singers. He was strongly devoted to his family, and his grandchildren fondly named him "Boompa." His hobbies included photography, presenting slide shows, fishing, gardening, wood-working, collecting license plates, garage sales, and travel. Donald was always a kid at heart, as he enjoyed playing games and working puzzles, while remaining a lifetime loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs in football.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilton, James and Norman; sister, Lois Hedrick; brothers-in-law, Jim Phillips, Bill Mullett and Chester Hedrick; sisters-in-law, Frances, Iona and Thelma; and son-in-law, Don Vann.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Bonnie; siblings, Louise Mullett and Estell (Minnie) Williams; children, Janet (David) Yell; Kevin (Paula); Judy Vann; and Keith; along with 7 grandchildren, Vanessa Yell (Matt) Montgomery; Matthew (Karen) Yell; Amy Vann (Casey) Lewis; Lauren Williams (Bobby) Caivano; Justin (Marisol) Vann; Kirk (Sarah) Williams; Jared (Emily) Vann; and 17 great grandchildren, Tyler; Andrew; Addyson; Lily; Colby; Zackery; Evan; William; Elijah; Maggie; Alyssa; Tristan; Mason; Walker; Benjamin; Atlas; and Lainey.
