Donna Rae (Seifert) Pendley, 91, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12th at Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Donna was born and raised in upstate New York in and around the communities of Brockport, New York.  She was the fifth of eight children born to Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Seifert, now deceased.  She served the United States in the Army stationed at the Pentagon.  In 1952 she married Gene Austin Pendley and had four children, Lola, Jeffery, Bridget, and Rodney.  After Gene retired from the US Air Force in 1969, they made their home in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Donna worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses through her life and retired from the Boys Clubs of Wichita Falls in 1990 where she was the Finance and Office Manager for 13 years.  During her active years she was president of the 1972 WFHS Coyote Football Mother's Club, and Past President of the Benevolent, Patriotic Order of the Does of the U.S.A. associated with the BPO Elks Lodge No. 1105.  She was also known for her cooking, baking, and sewing.

Donna was the last surviving member of her generation from the Seifert family.  She is preceded in death by her late husband of 63 years, Gene, her daughter, Bridget Pendley, her sisters, Shirley Gray, Betty Seifert, Joyce Seifert, Beverly Sorce, Patricia Seifert, brothers, Paul Seifert and David Seifert, son-in-law Gary Pepper, and all her in-laws.

She is survived by her daughter, Lola Pepper, son, Jeffery (Beverly) and son, Rodney Pendley.  Her grandchildren, Jeffery Pendley, Jr. (Kimberly), Bradly Pepper (Debbie), Paige Pendley-Lessor (Kyle), and Brent Pepper (Brittany).  She also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Addisen Pendley, Nolan Pendley, and Laken Lessor.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from both the Seifert and Pendley families.

Memorials may be made to the Wichita Falls Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni & Friends, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls, The Charities of BPO Elks Lodge No. 1105, and Hospice of Wichita Falls.  We would also like to thank the staffs of Senior Care of Wichita Falls, Texoma Christian Care Center, and Hospice of Wichita Falls for taking such good care of Donna these last two years. We are so thankful for organizations such as these.
