Dorothy Ruth Ferguson, 90, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on September 16th, at Grace Church Chapel, 5214 Stone Lake Dr, Wichita Falls, Texas, with Dr. Isaac Butterworth officiating. A visitation will be held following the service.

A daughter of the late Lee and Ruth Hall, Dorothy was born on November 21, 1933, in Rhome, Texas. After graduation from Northwest HS, Dorothy met and married George Camp while working at her parent's restaurant. They moved to Wichita Falls where they had 3 children, Randy, Janet and Ricky. She enjoyed working as an administrative secretary for Schlumberger, Hardy Gage, Clyde Brannan and others. In 1975 she married Kenneth Ferguson and they lived in Holliday, Texas. Kenny and Dorothy loved to travel and have family and friends at their lake house at Possum Kingdom. She loved the Lord and her family and friends deeply. She was an excellent cook and loved to prepare a holiday meal for her family. After Kenneth's death in 2013, she moved back to Wichita Falls and spent her last years at Presbyterian Manor, where she was loved and well taken care of by their wonderful staff.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ruth Hall; and husband Kenneth Ferguson.

She is survived by her children, Randy Camp (Linda), Janet Lee, Rick Camp (Sandy), stepdaughter Dee Ann Trahan; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
