Edward "Red" Alan Elliott passed away on December 11, 2023.  A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20th, at Fast Eddie's on Southwest Parkway.

Red was born to Nancy Ellen Freeman and Carl Edward Thieme on March 30, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri.  At the age of six, he was adopted by his step-father, Richard A Elliott and his name was changed to Edward Alan Elliott.

He went into the Army at 17 for two years and returned to Wichita Falls.  He worked at CertainTeed for 30 years and played on the bowling league for several years. He married Janet Burroughs on June 26, 1982; they were married 41 years at the time of his death.

Red was preceded by his parent's Nancy and Richard Elliott and his brother Ricky Elliott.

He is survived by his wife, Janet; his son Rick Elliott; Tim and wife Catherine Burroughs; grandson, Michael Burroughs II; and sisters, Teresa Leugemors and Merry Elliott.
