On March 18th, Elaine Hennessey Noe Yehle (nee Robillard) passed away at the House of Hope in Wichita Falls, TX. Born on March 26, 1934 to Helen and Joseph Robillard in Waltham, Massachusetts, she would have celebrated her 91st birthday this month.

Growing up in Massachusetts, Elaine completed Finishing School and then had a short modeling career. She married Robert Hennessey in 1954 after he quite literally swept her off her feet in his Air Force uniform during a New Year's Eve Ball on December 31, 1953. Elaine and Robert led an adventurous life, moving their five children across the country as an active-duty Air Force family from 1954 - 1971 before settling in Wichita Falls.

While married to husband Robert, Elaine enjoyed traveling with friends from the Our Lady Queen of Peace congregation who became their family away from Boston and could often be found dancing at an OLQP or Country Club Event or hosting one of the Hennessey's fabulous pool parties on Shady Lane.

Throughout her life, Elaine was always a beacon of positivity and acceptance, from mundane things like getting excited over Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza to the extravagances of fine dining on a cruise, she showed joy and gratitude constantly. As a member of many social groups, there was never a stranger that Elaine couldn't call a friend.

Elaine's wit and charm will be truly missed. She joins many of her family and friends, finding peace in her eternal resting place. She is joining her husbands, Robert Edward Hennessey and Richard Noe, her sister and brother: Rosemary Soderstrom and Gerald Robillard, her parents, and her grandsons: Andrew Bridgman and Robert Douglas Hennessey. Elaine is survived by her five children: Stephen Hennessey, Donna Buckingham, Patrick Hennessey, Karen Hennessey, and Michael Hennessey, seven grandchildren: Danielle, Austin, Elaina, Erin, Drew, Zachary, and Tyler, seven great-grandchildren: Madeleine, Liliana, Aria, Alora, McKinsey, Ethan, and Madden, and 1 great-great-grandchild: Ma'Kai.

A visitation will be held on April 22nd at 3:30 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
