Elmo Carter Morgan, age 89, went to see his Lord and Savior on April 1, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Lunn's Colonial  Chapel with Michael McCleeary, minister at Wichita Falls Church of Christ, officiating. A private family burial will follow the service. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6-7 PM at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Elmo was born December 8, 1933 in Parker County TX to Jack and Delora (Smith) Morgan. As a child he was called Rabbit because he could run almost as fast as the jack rabbits. He married the love of his life Geneva McGee on November 18,1954 in Seymour TX. They were married for 68 years.

Elmo worked for Frito-Lay for 30 years. After retirement he and Geneva loved traveling and antique hunting, even having an antique booth in Waurika, OK. Elmo was a member of the Church of Christ and loved to serve the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Scott and Wanda Cox; and three brothers, R.W,, Jack and Frank Morgan.

Elmo is survived by his wife, Geneva; son, Jerry Don; and daughter, Jan Bowman (Steve), all of Wichita Falls. Grandchildren; Cory, McKenna and Jerid, as well as, Ashley and Adam Bowman. Great-grandchildren; Mia, Emma, Judson and Cole Bowman.
