Evelyn V. Baker, 92, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, in Hurst, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26th at Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Larry Shields officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Ms. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Zepherina (Dupnik) and Edward W. Madden, Evelyn was born on August 18, 1930, in Tulia, Texas and lived on the family farm outside of Poolville, Tx. She was a home health aid for the elderly, a certified nurses aid, worked in the Wichita Falls Schools as a teachers aid, and always a caregiver to her own loved ones including her husband Olin and daughter Phyllis.  She had a long and beautiful life full of kids, smiles, laughter, a little bit of good ol gossip and visiting with family. She loved her little dog Shea, yard work, fishing with friends at Lake Wichita, especially enjoyed visiting with her family at their farms.

Along with her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husbands, Orville L. Allen and Olin Ledford Baker; daughter Karen Sue Allen; daughter Phyllis J. Allen Bates; and brother Edward Madden.

She is survived by her sisters, Jane Sibenthal and Edrena Parker, granddaughter, Jennifer Belt, and her great grandchildren, Zephyrina, Evangeline, Adeline, and Antonio.  She is also survived by her daughter Marsha Smith and grandchildren, Jesse Fairchild, Christopher Smith and Alexander Smith.
