F.M. (Buddy) Bryant, 94, of Wichita Falls, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2nd at Lunn's. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3rd at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Buddy was born on March 3, 1930, in St. Louis, Oklahoma, the son of Charles and Carrie (Vinson) Bryant. He was an Independent Baptist Preacher for 69 years. He loved vacations to the mountains in New Mexico, where he enjoyed fishing. Although being a fisherman was high on his list of things to do, the most important thing to him was being a fisher of men for God. His ministry was dynamic, and he was loved and respected by his colleagues, friends and family. He was the Papa everyone wished they had. He was the pastor emeritus and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.

Buddy is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanene Bryant; his parents; his daughter, Belva Bryant; six brothers, Bob, Joe, Jimmy, Kenneth, Ronnie and Jack; and two sisters, Madge and June.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Marrion and Jackie Bryant; his daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Tim Blackwell; four grandchildren, Shannon Byerly and husband, Jim; Melissa Silva and husband, Jose; Tim Blackwell, Jr and wife, Crystal; and Terrence Blackwell; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan Blackwell, Merritt Byerly (Dummkopt), Carson Blackwell, Cadence Blackwell, Savannah Blackwell, Reece Byerly and Andy Silva.
