Frances "Kay" Pingree, 71, of Lake Arrowhead, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024.

A family celebration of Kay's life will take place at a later date.

A daughter of Mary Frances (Burroughs) and Cebran Lawrence Van Horn, Kay was born on July 22, 1953, in Trieste, Italy.

Kay attended S.H. Rider High School and graduated in 1971, where she met her husband, Martin Pingree. They later married and had two daughters. She lived in Wichita Falls until 2016 when they relocated to their perfect lake house on Lake Arrowhead.

Kay was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and Gummy. She loved to tell stories, drink red wine, and love with all of her heart. She was generous and she will be missed dearly by all that knew her.

Kay is preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Pingree Rasberry, her father, Cebran Van Horn, her mother Mary Van Horn and her mother-in-law, Yvonne Rodgers.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Martin Pingree, her daughter Amy Pingree Smith and son-in-law, Brandon Smith, her granddaughter, Reese Rasberry and sisters, Toni Jetton and husband Ken, Debbie Wright and husband, Joe and Cindy Baker and husband Donnie.
