Frank Merasco, age 84, passed away April 1, 2025 in Wichita Falls.

A Memorial service and Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Pastor Wayne Moore officiating.

Frank was born March 2, 1941 to Earl and Mary (Barron) Merasco in Shinnston, West Virginia. Frank proudly served his country in the US Navy and was Honorably Discharged as a Psychiatric Ward Corpsman.

Frank earned his Bachelor of Education Degree from Fairmont State University and his Masters from Western Michigan University. He married Sylvia Ann (Yost) Merasco on October 15, 1966 and they moved to Edwardsburg in 1968 where he taught for 30 years.

Frank married Vicki Mooday Merasco on September 13, 1986 and they have been married for 38 years.

Frank enjoyed coaching and officiating softball and basketball, traveling and fishing in Canada. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to share stories and jokes to anyone who would listen.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Patsy Merasco and Tommy Merasco; and one sister Mary Ann Hostetler.

Frank is survived by his wife Vicki Merasco; two sons, Jeffrey (Dawn) Merasco and Kevin Merasco; a stepdaughter, Kristal Frost; five grandchildren, Christian, Andrew, Caleb and Kaitlyn Merasco and Olivia Kloski; and sister and brother-in-laws Eddie and Shari Smith.
