Frankie L. Smith, 87, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2026.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26th at Lunn’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 29th, at Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas.

The son of the late Lydia Moore Smith and Buddy Smith, Frankie was born on March 22, 1939, in McLean, Texas. He graduated from Amarillo High School and attended Amarillo College. He was a district manager at Freeman Shoe Company for 25 years and most recently an Auctioneer for 30 years.

Frankie was a member of St Stephens United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Khiva Shrine of Amarillo and was most proud of being a Master Mason for 62 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting and auctioneering.

He is survived by daughters: Kelly Wages of Lubbock, Texas, and Tracy Little and husband Cary of Wichita Falls. Sister: Sharon Petricone of Wichita Falls. Grandchildren: Jennifer Wages, Austin Little and wife Tatum, Landon Little, Tanner Little and fiancé Madison. Great Grandchildren: Cameron Rodriguez, Caleb Fullerton, Bear Little, Palmer Little and Great-Great Grandson OakLee Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by his wife Roxie Ann Powell Smith, grandson Josh Wages and parents Buddy and Lydia Smith.
