Frasher Ray Johnson, 88, passed away October 3, 2023, in Wichita Falls.  He was born June 13, 1935, to Sammie Johnson and Annie (Davlin) Johnson in Longview, Texas.  They moved to Wichita Falls when he was just an infant and lived here until he passed.

A visitation will be held at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 6-7 p.m. Services will be held in Lunn's Colonial Chapel on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Graveside services will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Frasher attended Wichita Falls High School and worked for the City of Wichita Falls for over 30 years as manager of Animal Control, after retiring from the city he worked for McClurkan's Department Store for over 5 years.  Frasher loved to fish, and play 42, as partner's he and his dad were undefeated and they didn't mind bragging about it, all the 42 players in our family learned from them.  Frasher married the love of his life, Rhoda Lou Pruitt on August 15, 1953 in Wichita Falls; they were married for 70 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sammie and Annie Johnson; brother, Clovis Johnson; 3 sisters, Marie Bogues, Metha Samples, and Lillian Christopher.

Frasher is survived by his wife Rhoda; daughter, Debbie Elaine Wampler and her husband Robert; son, Darrin Ray Johnson and wife Kendra Lea Jo; granddaughters, Misti Lou Miller, Savannah Raye-Anne Johnson; grandson, Kody Ray Wampler; 2 great granddaughters; 2 great grandsons; 1 great, great granddaughter; and 1 great, great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Robby Story, Gaylon Berg, Rich Meador, Gary Don Miller, Ruben Enriquez, and Craig R. Kerr.
