Glenda Machele Banks was born on February 19, 1982 in Wichita Falls, Texas, and passed away on November 24, 2021 at the age of 39.

Glenda graduated from Rider High School and kept her alma mater close to her heart. Whether going to a game or listening to it on the radio, Glenda never missed a chance to cheer on her Rider Raiders. She had a passion for the Special Olympics, where she competed in many events, and excelled in all. Glenda found joy in many things, especially music and singing.

Glenda's faith in the Lord, her family, and her many friends were the most important aspects of her life. She never met a stranger, making sure to share a smile and her compassionate heart to everyone. Her loving and selfless nature has made an impact on everyone who knew her and she will be forever missed, but always in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Darlene Worthington, and Jack Sr. and Virginia Banks.

Those left to treasure her memory are her parents, Jack and Linda Banks; her sister, Christy Banks; her brother, Brian Banks; her nephews, Carson Banks, Grayson Spaulding, Andyn Banks, and Nolan Banks; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29 ^th , at Rosemont Cemetery. Additional support for the family can be shown at the visitation being held from 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, November 28 ^th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
