Gloria Sue League, age 91, passed away on October 16, 2021 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday October 25, 2021 in Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Don Pellikan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Mrs. League was born February 10, 1930 and resided with her parents, Grady and Pearle Taylor in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mrs. League graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High school and attended Hardin College (Midwestern University). After College, Mrs. League worked in the office of Crestview Memorial Park and later for the City National Bank of Wichita Falls.

She and John P. League were married, February 19, 1949 in Wichita Falls. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She also served as an officer of Fain PTA, Senior-Junior Forum and Northside Girl's Club. Additionally, she served as a Campfire Girls Leader. Mrs. League was a resident of Bentonville, Arkansas from July 1987 to September, 1994.

Survivors include her husband, John, and a daughter Lori Laramee and her husband Mike Laramee of Fort Worth, Texas, one sister-in-law, Rosemary Tidwell of Houston, Texas and several nieces and one nephew.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls.
