Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 2, at 1:30 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.

All arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Guy "Pete" Denham was born to Guy Walter Denham, Sr. & Dorothy Stout Denham on March 6, 1951 in Olney, Texas. He attended school in Wichita Falls & graduated from Rider High School in 1969. Guy then joined the marines where he served his country & fought in the Vietnam War. He was very proud to be a marine. After being honorably discharged as a decorated hero, he came home to Wichita Falls. Guy attended Midwestern State University & worked at the Allred Unit as a guard for many years before his retirement. Guy was a kind man with an awesome sense of humor. He loved blaring good music, hunting, fishing & photography. Guy had many talents & could rebuild/refurbish just about anything. In his most recent years, he enjoyed getting to spend time with his grandchildren whom he loved very much.

Guy is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Don Denham & his sister Glenda Vernon.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Denham of Seattle Washington, his son David Denham & his wife Camille of Wichita Falls, 5 grandchildren: Laikin, Libby & David Russell, Cason Jackson & Kloey Denham, along with a great granddaughter, Ily Claire Brown.

The effects of the Vietnam War & the way the veterans were treated upon their return is something that lingered with Guy for all of the years since his service. Therefore, we ask that all memorials be made to the Wichita Falls VA or your local VA & that you thank your serving soldiers & veterans.
