Hal Newsom, 73, beloved Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on August 3, 2021. A funeral service will be held on August 6th at 10:00 AM at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home, with Scott Franks officiating; burial following at Riverside Cemetery.
He entered this world on August 31, 1947 in Wichita Falls, TX, born to Harmon and Camille Newsom. He graduated from Hirschi High School and Midwestern State University, with a degree in business. Hal served honorably in the National Guard for eighteen years, after which he had a twenty year career as a teacher at Wichita Falls High School.
He is survived by his sister Susie Cain; brother-in-law Gragg Cain; nephew Mark Cain, wife Patricia, and numerous other family members.
