Harley Zane Mendenhall, 63, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2025.

Harley was born in Wichita Falls on March 25, 1962, the oldest of three sons born to the late Thomas Wayne Mendenhall and Charlotte Mendenhall (Adams.) From an early age, Harley carried the responsibility of being the oldest; steady, independent, and strong in his own way.

Throughout his working life, Harley was known for his reliability and work ethic. He was employed with Atwood Oceanics and later with Celadon Trucking, careers that reflected his independence and comfort with long hours and time on the road.

Harley had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, especially his Harley-Davidson, which brought him both freedom and peace. Riding wasn't just a hobby, it was part of who he was. He also had a deep love for animals and was especially devoted to his two Corgis, who were constant companions and a source of daily joy.

Those who knew Harley will remember his sense of humor, his loyalty to family, and his appreciation for the simple things that mattered most to him. He valued independence, time on the open road, and the bonds he shared with the people closest to him.

Harley is lovingly remembered by his son, Dylan; his mother, Charlotte; his brothers, Darin and Zac; and his aunt, Bette Lowery. He will also be remembered by extended family and friends whose lives he touched in his own quiet, genuine way.
