Herman W. Cope, 96, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10 ^th at the Burkburnett Cemetery, Burkburnett, Texas, with Chaplain Emmy Dunn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Bessie (Netherland) and George Cope, Herman was born on November 18, 1926, in Burkburnett. Herman was a machinist for 45 years. He loved to play pool in his garage and work out at The Zone until he was older, then rode a stationary bike. His favorite thing was to just ride in the car and look at buildings and houses anything really just riding.  Herman faithfully attended Church of Christ Church wherever he was able. He loved his family.

Along with his parents, Herman was also preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Melissie Cope; two brothers, Edgar andAubrey; and two sisters, Cordy Long and Thelma Gillen.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
