Jack Peirce, 89 of Wichita Falls, passed away on January 26, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Michael McCleeary officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6-7 PM.

Jack was born in Henrietta, Texas on January 29th,1932. At age 7 his family moved to Altus, Oklahoma where he graduated from Altus High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy 3  years after which he went through the IBEW apprentice program to become a Journeyman and later became a Master electrician.  He met Aleda Freeman and she became the bride of his youth in 1957 and together they had 4 children, Douglas, Dwayne, David, and Rebecca.

Jack worked for Clayton Electric for 25 years after which he started and operated Jack Peirce Electric for over 31 years.  After 39 years of marriage Aleda passed away and in his senior years he married a long time friend Edith Burrows and enjoyed nearly 20 years together.  He loved coaching his children sports, hunting, fishing, golf, bowling, dominos, card games and puzzles.  In 1972 he pursued another love that later became a passion of farming and ranching.   His farming interests were in the Burkburnett and Iowa Park area. The most important part of his life was his spiritual life and was a member of the church of Christ since his teens.  He taught bible classes, served as an elder, and preached sermons on occasions.  If the doors were open and he was able he was in attendance.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents AD and Lena Plemons Peirce, his wives Aleda Freeman Peirce and Edith Burrows Peirce, his brothers Robert "Bob" Peirce and AD "Si" Peirce, his sisters Thelma James and Mozelle Morris, a son-in-law John Pierce, and a grandson Allen Pierce.

Jack is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws Doug and Anga Peirce, Dwayne and Aneva Peirce, David and Jenneth Peirce, his daughter Rebecca (Peirce) Pierce, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
