Jacqueline Louise (Jackie) Armstrong Morris, 98, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on August 13, 2022.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18 ^th at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23 ^rd from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Rose City Funeral Home in New Castle, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at Rose City Funeral Home, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24 ^th with burial following at South Mound Cemetery.

The daughter of the late Floyd and Edith Whitworth, Jackie was born on March 9, 1924, in Henry County, Indiana. She graduated in 1942 from high school in Casey, Illinois. Jackie met and married John Armstrong in 1947. They had two sons, Jay Armstrong of New Castle, Indiana and Jef Armstrong of Wichita Falls, Texas. During her lifetime, Jackie worked as a teacher's aide, secretary and pharmacy tech. She enjoyed volunteering at Hospice of Wichita Falls and her church, Lamar Baptist. Jackie loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Edith Whitworth; the love of her life, John Armstrong; brother-in-law Robert Cox; her second husband Kent Morris; sister-in-law Mary Whitworth; sister Wanda Hedges; and nephew Gary Hedges.

Jackie is survived by her sons, Jay Armstrong of Newcastle, Indiana; Jef Armstrong and wife Teresa of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister Josie Cox of Munice, Indiana; brother Richard Whitworth of Sulphur Springs, Indiana; grandchildren Lindsey (Armstrong) Luman and husband Justin of Iowa Park, Texas; Ian Armstrong of Wichita Falls, Texas; and great- grandchildren Owen and Oliver Luman, also of Iowa Park, Texas.
