Jackie Styles, 89, of Holliday, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26th at Lunn's. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27th at First Baptist Church of Holliday with Rev. Darryl Sewell officiating. Interment will follow at Holliday Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A daughter of the late Leone (Crouch) and Horace B. Latham, Laura Jacqueline, known as "Jackie' throughout her life, was born on April 26, 1937, in Bomarton, Baylor County. She graduated from Goree High School and went on to meet the love of her life, Buster William Styles, and they were married in February of 1957. They were married in Goree and then moved to Throckmorton. She then found her life's calling and went to nursing school and became an LVN. After moving to Holliday, she continued her nursing career for a few more years, but then after her nursing career was over, she worked at the daycare in Holliday. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holliday where she could be found helping Buster make sure the landscape always looked great. Her idea of having fun was watching a rousing game of backyard baseball between her 7 grandsons. She was their greatest cheerleader. Jackie was known as Nan-Naw and all her grandkids and great-grandkids knew they could count on her for a warm smile or a warm meal, especially her white brownies.

Along with her husband, Buster, Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Myrna Murdoch and a brother Charley Latham.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Styles and wife, Kathy and Kirk Styles and wife, Jolene; daughter Laurie McAlister and husband, Robert; seven grandchildren, Craig Styles and wife Sheena, Koby Styles and wife, Angela, Scott Styles and wife Erika, Kolin Styles and Jacee Halsell, Kendall Styles and wife, Eva, Braden Broussard and wife, Jaci, Brysen Broussard and wife, Molly; and thirty-six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Linda Routon and husband Jimmie of Wichita Falls and a brother, Dusty Latham and wife JoAnn of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
