Jackie Paul Van Houten, 81, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away August 10, 2024.

Graveside Services will be held on August 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Bluegrove Cemetery in Bluegrove, Texas, with Roger Deerinwater officiating.

Jackie was a husband, Dad, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, brother and cousin that you could depend on. He took care of his family and set examples of how to work hard, earn and give respect, and show love to his family and friends. You always knew where you stood with PaPa.

His love for his grandchildren was shown by him taking the time to call them and visit with them for hours sometimes. Those phone visits and vacation trips will be cherished memories forever.

Jackie, Papa, was a big presence in our lives and we will never forget his love for us and the memories we made with him. The greatest man we have ever known. We will carry on knowing he is soaring with the angles in heaven with the one that shed his blood and payed the price for our sins. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
