James A. "Jim" Anderson, 93, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17th at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Georgia Harrison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

A son of the late Anna Ruth (Kahn) and James Dudley Anderson, Jim was born on October 10, 1931, in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Beverly Watson on June 18,1966, in Wichita Falls.

He and his wife owned Anderson Personnel and Polygraph Service in Wichita Falls for 20 years. He was a graduate of North Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business. He served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1957. He was a member of the first United Methodist Church and he was a member of the Lions club.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting fishing, cycling and reading. He achieved the rarity in golf of "shooting his age" at 79 and shot two holes in one in his lifetime.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly Anderson; his son, Mark Anderson and wife Lisa of Holliday; and grandchildren Sara and Thomas Anderson.
