Jane Elizabeth Shepherd, 84, formerly of Wichita Falls, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Tyler, Texas.

The family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 21st at City Hope Church in Wichita Falls.  A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, September 22nd at 11:00am at Heritage Assembly of God in Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Dovie (Womack) and Ira Parker Shepherd, Jane was born on April 11, 1937, in Gainesville, TX. Jane was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School. She never married and lovingly cared for her parents until their death. Jane loved her friends and family deeply. She was never without a sweet smile and witty sense of humor. Her favorite pastimes included fishing, her monthly Bunco group, and attending church functions. Jane officially became Nana when her adopted grandchildren Jonathan and Ginger Pino had children. Watching Raley play volleyball and Owen play football, baseball, and basketball was her favorite. She never missed one of Raley or Owen's events. While Jane's blood family was small, her friends who loved her as family were vast. Jane was a faithful member of Heritage Assembly of God church in Wichita Falls and Victory Church in Canton, TX. Jane resided the last 6 years of her life in Canton with The Pinos. She brought their family an immense amount of joy. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her sweet dog, Maggie. She is survived by Jonathan, Ginger, Raley, and Owen Pino of Canton, TX. She is also survived by several cousins, and a whole host of friends that are considered family.
