Jeanine V. Wolff, age 92 of Grand Haven, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born on June 17, 1930, in Decatur, Illinois, to Stephen and Vernet (Anderson) Platt. Jeanine married G. Walter "Dutch" Wolff on January 6, 1951, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2016, after 65 years of marriage. She moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, in December of 2020 to be closer to her daughter and her family.

Jeanine moved to Grand Haven from Batavia, Illinois, in 1953. She worked as a secretary for many years, and later, became co-owner of S.A. Platt for 30 years.

Jeanine was a member at United Methodist Church of the Dunes, where she also taught Sunday school for many years. She was an Auxiliary member of the former Jaycee's, volunteered her time at the American Red Cross, served as Girl Scout leader, and was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award through the Grand Haven Area Public Schools on May 8, 1970. Jeanine was an avid quilter who enjoyed working on quilts and ceramics, and collecting rocks and minerals.

Jeanine is lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Nanette (Paul) Ehrsam of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter-in-law, Julie Wolff of Grand Haven, MI; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Gwen Burns of Indiana; brother, Stephen Platt of Virginia; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch; and son, Jerry Wolff.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24 ^th at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Pastor Larry Mauldin officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Interment will be at the United Methodist Church of the Dune Memorial Garden in Grand Haven, Michigan.
